ZXi Station ZATX

READY environment, the ZXt Station is a

leading Sun or Intel processor- based rugged

computer with the exibility of a standard 19”

rack mountable packaging.

The ZXt Station (Sun or Intel) hosts a selection

of the latest high-performance motherboards

along with the most current xed and removable

peripherals in a tough environmentally protected

enclosure.

The ZXt Station supports single or dual-

processors, up to three internal peripherals

and two removable TranzPak 7 hard drives with

maximum available storage capacity.

Z Microsystems can provide all the accessories

and software to deliver the latest computing

technology in a lightweight compact 7” high

(4U) by 19” deep package.

This rugged, dust-ltered aluminum construction

is purposely built for easy maintenance in

deployed situations.

With full PCI card capacity and completely open specication, the small, rugged

ZATX begins with your choice of the most current ATX form factor motherboard and

allows you to tailor a computing system for your most demanding and specialized

performance characteristics.

With complete front panel interface, the ZATX offers maximum storage capacity in

a removable tough TranzPak 7 hard drive, a low-prole oppy drive and CDRW. A

front-replaceable modular AC or DC 300-watt power supply powers the system and

optimal cooling is provided through independent front-to-side ventilation.

The ZATX provides application designers access to the latest commercially available

ATX motherboards to help speed up the development cycle, and provide a platform

for the integration of hardware and software with the most current commercial-off-

the-shelf processors.

The ZATX offers benets from the ever-extending selection of ATX form factor CPU

boards, along with instant upgradeability as new boards come on the market. The

ZATX is an excellent alternative to CompactPCI and VME architecture for embedded

systems applications, engine controls and automation.

only 3.5” (2U) high by 24” deep, this compact lightweight rugged workstation gives

ZXt Station

When commercial can’t cut it in your harsh environment, the ZXi Station delivers the

latest technology platform from Sun or Intel. The ZXi Station hosts up to three super

rugged hot-pluggable TranzPak 7 removable drives, a load sharing hot-swappable

power supply and room for a wide selection of xed peripherals.
